Our story

How we met

Marco and Sofia met on an island-hopping boat in Coron, seated next to each other purely by chance. He spent the day pointing out the best snorkeling spots; she spent it pretending she wasn't seasick.

By the last lagoon they'd swapped numbers, and by the end of the trip they'd swapped travel plans for the rest of the year.

They've been chasing sunsets together ever since — and now they're inviting everyone they love to the best one yet.

What to wear

Beach formal · tropical

Think light, breathable and breezy. Dress for sand underfoot and a sea breeze at sunset — stilettos and the shoreline aren't friends.

For him

Cool & classic

  • · Linen barong or tropical button-down (no full suit needed)
  • · Linen trousers or smart tailored shorts
  • · Loafers, espadrilles, or leather sandals
For her

Flowy & sunlit

  • · Flowy maxi or sundress in tropical or pastel hues
  • · Soft florals, corals, turquoise, sandy neutrals
  • · Wedges, block sandals, or barefoot on the sand
Palette inspiration: turquoise · sandy beige · coral · soft white · sunlit pastels. Please avoid stilettos — they don't love the sand.

FAQ

Please arrive by 4:00 PM so we can start the ceremony at 4:30 PM sharp — we want to catch the golden hour with you.

Wedges, block sandals, or barefoot are all welcome. Skip the stilettos — they will sink into the sand. Flat sandals or espadrilles for the gents.

Direct flights from Manila or Cebu to El Nido (ENI) via AirSWIFT, or fly into Puerto Princesa (PPS) and take a 5–6 hour van transfer. Ferries from Coron also run daily.

Yes please — reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat for the ceremony. We'll have parasols on hand, but a little extra sun protection goes a long way.

Yes! The aisle is right by the shoreline. Dress for sand, sea breeze and a beautiful sunset.

Due to limited beachfront space, we're keeping the guest list intimate. Please refer to your invitation for the names included.

We love your little ones, but the reception is an adults-preferred celebration. Children of immediate family are warmly invited.

El Nido has options from beachfront resorts to charming guesthouses. Tick the accommodation box on the RSVP and we'll send a curated list.
